Vastu Consultation
Vastu alignment that respects design intent — not at the cost of light, ventilation or layout.

We consult on Vastu where it matters for family peace of mind, and quietly resolve conflicts between traditional principles and modern apartment shells. No demolitions for the sake of orientation — practical, surgical adjustments that keep the design intent intact.
Agree on priorities before moving a wall
Vastu matters differently to different households. One family may have a short list for the entrance, kitchen and pooja space; another may want a direction-by-direction review before buying a plot. We begin by asking who the guidance is for, which principles are non-negotiable and whether the project is a vacant plot, a new plan, an apartment shell or a finished home. This prevents a general checklist from overruling the actual brief and helps family members make explicit choices where their priorities differ.
The base information must also be sound. We work from a dimensioned plan, a verified north direction and the actual usable envelope. Phone-compass readings can be affected by metal and nearby equipment, so orientation is cross-checked rather than treated as a magic single measurement. In an apartment, the building core, façade and plumbing shafts are usually fixed; in a new house, the same discussion can happen before structure and services close options. The report is always tied to the specific plan and stated assumptions.
Test recommendations against architecture
We overlay the requested Vastu priorities with daylight, ventilation, privacy, circulation, structure and plumbing. A preferred kitchen zone still needs a safe exhaust path and a workable relationship to dining. A bedroom orientation still needs protection from harsh west sun and street noise. A pooja niche should not create a dark obstruction in the centre of a compact floor. When two requirements conflict, we show options and consequences instead of claiming that one diagram can remove all trade-offs.
For a new home, the most useful output is an annotated plan with ranked recommendations folded into the architectural brief before room sizes settle. For an existing home, the hierarchy changes: furniture orientation, room use, lighting, colour or a small non-structural adjustment may address the family’s concern without breaking waterproofing or moving a structural wall. We do not recommend demolition merely to chase an ideal compass sector, and we do not describe symbolic measures as substitutes for engineering, healthy ventilation or maintenance.
A practical report, not a fear document
The consultation report records the plan reviewed, orientation, key observations, recommendations, feasibility and priority. Items are separated into “integrate now”, “consider if the layout changes” and “optional preference” so the client knows what belongs in the design programme. If a suggestion would affect structure, fire egress, common services, external appearance or approval conditions, it is flagged for the relevant architect, engineer, society or authority review before any work.
Vastu is a traditional planning framework, not a guarantee of health, wealth, relationships or project performance. We make no predictive claims and do not invent defects to sell remedies. The value of the service is a calm, documented reconciliation between the beliefs important to the household and a home that still works in Delhi’s climate. Where no physical change is proportionate, saying so is a valid outcome. Where a new-build plan can accommodate a preference early at little cost, we integrate it cleanly rather than adding it after the design is complete.

Fees are proposed after the property, stage and appointment scope are clear. These are the main variables we resolve before issuing a fee letter:
- 01Stage of work: plot selection, early plan review, coordinated new-build design or completed-home audit.
- 02Size and complexity of the property, number of floors and number of alternative layouts reviewed.
- 03Availability of dimensioned drawings and whether a measured visit or orientation verification is needed.
- 04Written report depth, follow-up meetings and coordination with the architect or interior team.
- 05Travel outside the normal Delhi service area or repeated reviews after client-led plan changes.
Will a Vastu consultation require demolition?
Not by default. In an existing home we prioritise room use, furniture, light-touch layout adjustments and clearly explained trade-offs. Any structural, services or approval-sensitive change requires separate professional review and must be proportionate to the client’s stated priority.
Can Vastu be integrated into a modern house plan?
Yes. The best time is during briefing and early planning, when entrance, room zones and circulation can be tested alongside daylight, climate, privacy, structure and parking. The result should remain a coherent house rather than a set of disconnected directional rules.
Do you provide remedies or guarantee outcomes?
We provide architectural and planning recommendations within an agreed Vastu brief. We do not guarantee personal, medical or financial outcomes, and we do not present objects or symbolic changes as substitutes for sound design, engineering or professional advice.
What do you need for an online plan review?
A dimensioned, legible plan; the verified north direction; property type and floor; photographs where relevant; and the household’s priority list. If measurements or orientation are uncertain, the report will say so and may recommend a site visit before physical changes.
