The Quiet Floor
A floor inside a generic builder-floor shell, rebuilt around two long sightlines and a hidden balcony.
About this project
A standard 50x90 builder-floor in Shalimar Bagh, gutted and rebuilt from the inside. The brief was simple: more light, fewer corridors. We collapsed three small bedrooms into two larger ones, opened up a previously walled-off rear balcony, and reorganised the kitchen around a single working axis. The result is a flat that feels nothing like its address.
